Peyre Rose, Syrah Léone 2010 - 0,75L
This cuvée is mainly made from Syrah and a small touch of Mourvèdre. The great particularity of this wine is its 10 years of ageing: 75% in tuns and 25% in vats.
The bouquet of Syrah Léone is very complex. It offers a varied aromatic palette, built around black fruits, spices and truffles. The smoky notes come out in the mouth and the tannins are perfectly melted thanks to the prolonged aging.
The ageing potential of this wine is great. To be decanted at least one hour before tasting.
Domaine Peyre Rose is a 30-hectare estate located in Saint Pargoire, under the Coteaux du Languedoc appellation. It was created by Marlene Soria in 1980. Since then, she has continued to make her estate one of the greatest in the Languedoc, and even in France.
The vineyard is mainly planted with red grapes (Syrah, Grenache noir, Mourvèdre and Carignan) and 2 hectares of white grapes (notably Roussane and Relle).
Peyre Rose is certified in organic agriculture. Each vintage, small quantities attract wine lovers.
