Domaine Labruyère, Moulin-à-Vent, Coeur de Terroirs Vieilles Vignes 2015 - 0,75L
Coeur de Terroirs is a blend of the most beautiful terroirs of the domain. The Gamay vines are on average 50 years old.
The grapes are harvested by hand and 95% destemmed. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel and/or concrete vats of 50 hl, in a logic of parcel selection allowing to emphasize the specificities of the various terroirs. Half of the wine is matured in concrete tanks, the rest in barrels of several wines for 18 months.
This vintage 2015 cuvée smells of crushed red and black berries and toast. In the mouth, the wine envelops us with spicy and fruity notes.
A very greedy wine, we love it!
The Labruyère estate is one of the oldest vineyards in the Moulin-à-Vent appellation since the vines were bought by Jean-Marie Labruyère in 1850. The vineyard then covered 10 hectares.
Since then, 7 generations have succeeded one another at the Labruyère estate, always with a common objective: to work the vines in harmony with nature in order to produce wines that best express their terroir.
Gamay is the unique red grape variety of the appellation and of the Domaine Labruyère. Worked on great terroirs and vinified with great care, it offers high fashion wines, to be consumed as well as to be kept.
