Petit Caillou is a wine made from a few declassified parcels of the famous Château Ducru-Beaucaillou in Saint-Julien. These parcels with gravel soils are no longer part of the "Grand Cru Classé" but are still in the Saint-Julien appellation.
The manual harvest is followed by fermentation in vats and maturation in new oak barrels.
