Château Cazebonne, Graves rouge "Le Grand Vin" 2019 - 0,75L
Blend of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are harvested manually. The wine is then aged in barrels for 11 months.
A fresh and digestible wine always on the greediness.
Château Cazebonne is one of the oldest properties in the commune of Saint-Pierre de Mons. Commune located in the Graves, south of Bordeaux.
The vineyard which extends over 40 hectares is entirely certified in organic farming. Since the 2020 vintage, the vineyard is also certified biodynamic.
Jean-Baptiste Duquesne, a lifelong entrepreneur and wine enthusiast, bought Château Cazebonne in 2016, in collaboration with David Poutays, winemaker at Clos de Mounissens. Together they decided to replant forgotten Bordeaux grape varieties such as jurançon noir, castets, saint-macaire, etc.
