Château Certan de May, located in Pomerol, has belonged to the Barreau family since 1925. The vines have been cultivated here since the end of the 16th century.
The 5 hectares of vines (70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon) are located on the clay-gravel plateau of Pomerol, where the vines of Château Pétrus are also located.
The vines are cultivated according to a sustainable agriculture and the work in the cellars is meticulous, in order to elaborate great Pomerol wines.
