Château Mauvesin Barton, Moulis en Médoc 2013 - 0,75L

€18.00

This wine was fermented in vats and then aged for 1 year in barrels.

The nose reveals notes of black fruits and licorice. On the palate, a beautiful velvety texture with a pleasant vegetal touch.

Château Mauvesin Barton is located in the Moulis appellation in the Médoc region of Bordeaux. The Lilian Barton-Sartorius family, owners of Châteaux Léoville-Barton and Langoa-Barton, second and third growths classified Saint Julien, bought the property in 2011. Little known at the time, significant resources were invested to renovate the 51-hectare vineyard and the cellars and thus improve the quality of the wines.

The vines are only red grape varieties: 46% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot.

The wines of Château Mauvesin Barton are smooth and velvety.
