The 2004 Domaine de Cambes is at its peak. The nose opens with notes of undergrowth, truffle, jammy black fruits and dried flowers. On the palate, the 2004 vintage of Domaine de Cambes is rich, with a beautiful patina and a very nice fruit. A finish that lengthens to prolong the pleasure.
Château Roc de Cambes belongs to the Mitjavile family, very well known in the Bordeaux region. François Mitjavile is a visionary who has raised Roc de Cambes and Tertre Roteboeuf to a very high level.
The 10 hectares vineyard of Roc de Cambes benefits from an exceptional microclimate. The wines, in the Côtes de Bourg appellation, are at the level of great Saint-Emilion wines such as Cheval Blanc or Figeac.
The Domaine de Cambes is the second wine of the Château. The wines are mostly based on merlot and completed by cabernet franc.
