Jaugaret 2016, Vin de France - 0,75L
This confidential cuvée is elaborated without any input (neither in the vineyard nor in the cellars), by Jean-François Fillastre.
The 2016 vintage expresses itself with a bouquet of black fruits, spices and a hint of smoke. In the mouth, the material is elegant and endowed with an incredible freshness.
A mythical wine to keep in the cellar for a few years.
Jaugaret is an estate located in the Bordeaux region, in the Saint-Julien appellation. The family estate was taken over in 1983 by Jean-François Fillastre.
The vines of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot are spread over a small vineyard of 1.32 hectares.
Jean-François makes natural wines, which is quite rare for this appellation. So much so that some wines have been downgraded to Vin de France.
