Frédéric Cossard, Moulin-à-Vent 2015 - 0,75L

A Gamay-based cuvée. The grapes are harvested by hand and macerated in whole bunches. The wine is then aged for about 1 year in barrels.

A charming wine with aromas of violets and black fruits. In the bottle, the superb and soft tannins unfold slowly. A great wine !

A natural wine with no added sulfites.

Frédéric Cossard was originally a Burgundy wine broker. In 1996, he started to work as a winegrower, cultivating a few acres of vines in Saint-Romain, Auxey-Duresses and Savigny-lès-Beaune. This is how the Domaine de Chassorney was born.

This did not prevent Frédéric and his wife Laure from continuing their trading activity via the SARL Frédéric Cossard, which supplies itself with grapes from renowned appellations and crus (Meursault, Puligny and Chassagne-Montrachet, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis, Vosne-Romanée, Beaune, etc.).

Today, the Domaine de Chassorney has 10 hectares cultivated with the greatest respect for nature, without chemical fertilizers or weed killers. In the cellars, human intervention is reduced so that the wine can express itself fully.

The result is wines marked by elegance and purity.
