Trapet Père & Fils, Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru "Petite Chapelle" 2017 - 0,75L
The Premier Cru "Petite Chapelle" is part of one of the oldest terroirs of Domaine Trapet. The 40 ares parcel was acquired in 1877.
This 100% pinot noir is vinified with indigenous yeasts, without the addition of SO2, and the work is done by gravity.
The powerful and complex nose reveals notes of small red fruits (raspberry and cherry). In the mouth, an exaltation of flavors. The tannins are well melted. A deep and fleshy wine with a nice freshness at the end.
The Domaine Trapet Père & Fils was created in 1919 in Gevrey-Chambertin by Arthur Trapet.
Today it is considered as a great Burgundy domain. Certified in biodynamic agriculture with the Demeter and Biodyvin labels, Trapet Père & Fils perpetuates its ancestral know-how and produces with passion and pride Burgundy wines that reflect all the richness and complexity of their original terroir.
The family estate's vineyards cover 15 hectares, 13.5 of which are pinot noir and 1.5 chardonnay, and include famous appellations such as the Grands Crus Chambertin, Chapelle-Chambertin and Gevrey-Chambertin.
