Domaine Heitz-Lochardet, Meursault Premier Cru "Perrières" 2018 - 0,75L
The plot of Premier Cru Les Perrières is located in Meursault, on a soil with a very low clay content.
This white wine is powerful and mineral. A very nice balance between fat and tension. Brioche and butter notes with a hint of lemon. A marvel that can be aged for many years.
Domaine Heitz-Lochardet has changed its name to Domaine Armand Heitz, starting with the 2019 vintage.
Coming from a large family of Burgundian merchants, Armand Heitz took over the family vineyards in 2012, then in fermage. As the plots are qulitative, the wines quickly take back their superb.
Located in Chassagne-Montrachet, Domaine Armand Heitz has 20 hectares of vineyards with the main plots in Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin. The rest of its parcels are further north, in Volnay, Pommard, Beaune and Aloxe-Corton. The estate also operates some vineyards in Mercurey, in the Côte Châlonnaise.
The vineyard is cultivated according to the principles of sustainable agriculture.
The red Premiers Crus are vinified in whole grapes. The white wines are not crushed and the fermentation is natural. The wine is matured for 6 to 18 months and a maximum of 25% new barrels are used.
