This cuvée comes from 40 ares of Chardonnay planted in 2004, located under the Clos Rousseau. Noble rot developed on some berries (2% on average), giving a wine with exotic aromas. Very long and soft pressing, settling of 2 days, putting in barrels by gravity. The wine is aged in 600 liter demi-muids.
The confidential vintage offers notes of toast, butter and a touch of minerality. The ample and rich mouth is marked by a pleasant acidity.

The Domaine de Bellene was founded in 2005 by a group of winemakers. "Bellene" comes from the name of the city of Beaune which was named "Belena" from the Sun God "Belenos".
13.85 hectares formed the initial vineyard, extending from Santenay to the Côtes de Nuits Villages. From the beginning, the vineyard was conducted in organic farming.
