Frédéric Cossard, Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2017 - 0,75L

The terroir where the Bâtard-Montrachet Chardonnay is grown is an exceptional one located at an altitude of 250 meters.

After a direct pressing, the wine is aged for about a year in barrels.

A Bâtard-Montrachet par excellence: buttery, supple, complex, with aromas of white flowers.

Only 300 bottles are produced.

Natural wine without added sulfites

Frédéric Cossard was originally a Burgundy wine broker. In 1996, he started to work as a winegrower, cultivating a few acres of vines in Saint-Romain, Auxey-Duresses and Savigny-lès-Beaune. This is how the Domaine de Chassorney was born.

This did not prevent Frédéric and his wife Laure from continuing their trading activity via the SARL Frédéric Cossard, which supplies itself with grapes from renowned appellations and crus (Meursault, Puligny and Chassagne-Montrachet, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, Morey-Saint-Denis, Vosne-Romanée, Beaune, etc.).

Today, the Domaine de Chassorney has 10 hectares cultivated with the greatest respect for nature, without chemical fertilizers or weed killers. In the cellars, human intervention is reduced so that the wine can express itself fully.

The result is wines marked by elegance and purity.
