Joseph Drouhin, Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru 2018 - 0,75L
It would be the monks of the Collegial Saint-Denis of Vergy who planted this vineyard at the beginning of the XIIIth century.
A Clos Saint-Denis should be drunk at maturity within 5 to 10 years, in order to benefit from a perfect harmony of aromas.
The nose evokes the bigarreau cherry finely spiced by a touch of Havana and wood of islands. Great persistence of the aromas of mouth (candied fruits).
Maison Joseph Drouhin was founded in 1880 by Joseph Drouhin. It is located in the heart of Burgundy, in Beaune. The family heritage and know-how have been passed on for generations.
Its vocation is Burgundy in all its diversity and its domain covers all the terroirs of the wine region, with a majority of first and great growths. By deep conviction, Joseph Drouhin has adopted the practices of organic viticulture.
The Joseph Drouhin style combines balance, harmony and character, for an infinitely rich pleasure.
Today, Joseph Drouhin is a worldwide reference for great Burgundy wines.
