Champagne Perrier-Jouët, Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs 2006 - 0,75L
Perrier-Jouët's 2006 vintage blanc de blancs is an emblematic cuvée: a terroir, a grape variety and a year.
The vines are located in Cramant, on the Bouron Leroi and Bouron du Midi parcels with limestone soil. They are exposed south-east and allow a wonderful expression of chardonnay.
The fine and delicate bubbles reveal beautiful floral and honeyed notes. Fruits such as pineapple, apricot and citrus come next. The final touch is embellished with pastry and hazelnut notes.
Very nice champagne !
Champagne House founded by Pierre Perrier in 1811 in Epernay, Perrier Jouet is now one of the greatest Champagne Houses. The vineyards are located on exceptional terroirs: Aÿ, Mailly-Champagne, Avize and Cramant. Champagne Perrier Jouët was the champagne of the French Imperial Court in the 1870s.
The Belle Epoque bottle was designed by Emile Gallé, a pioneer of the Art Nouveau movement in 1902 during a collaboration with the Champagne House.
Perrier-Jouet is renowned for its singular and floral cuvées where the chardonnay expresses its purity.
