Champagne Deutz, Hommage à William Deutz "Meurtet" 2012 - 0,75L

This cuvée has been elaborated in homage to William Deutz. It is a 100% pinot noir (Blanc de Noirs), whose particularity is to have been elaborated with grapes coming exclusively from the historical plot of Meurtet. It is a vintage champagne produced in only 800 bottles.

On the nose, we can feel the fruits and white flowers. The mouth is sublimated by a very nice balance between freshness, complexity and elegance. Notes of iodine at the end of the mouth which leave us on a very beautiful end.

The Deutz house, which is located in Ay, was founded in 1838 by William Deutz and Peirre-Hubert Geldermann. These Parisians were originally wine merchants and bought a few quality vineyards in parallel with their business.

The estate expanded during the 20th century with the "Côte des Blancs" vineyards.

The current president Fabrice Rosset, manages the estate and the House with as much rigor for excellence as his illustrious predecessors. He has kept this will to produce the most beautiful fruit for the best champagne.
