Champagne Ruinart, Rosé - 0,75L
This Champagne rosé is a blend of 45% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and 55% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims.
20 to 25% of reserve wines from the previous 2 years are added.
The nose reveals notes of exotic fruits and small red fruits. These aromas are fine and delicate. On the palate, the lively attack gives way to acidulous notes and peppermint. A beautiful taste on very fine bubbles.
The history of the Ruinart Champagne House dates back to 1729. It is the oldest champagne house ever founded.
Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs is the flagship grape variety of Ruinart. It is part of the blend of all the cuvées of the House.
The Ruinart chalk pits are dug in Reims, in the limestone subsoil of the capital of Champagne, at a depth of nearly 40 meters. These chalk cathedrals, which are still in operation, are the only ones in the city of Reims to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and classified as a historic site.
