Nicolas Joly, Savennières, Coulée-de-Serrant 2018 - 0,75L
Mythical vintage of Nicolas Joly.
Fresh and silky attack on minerality and brioche notes. Great suppleness and long finish with aromas of ripe yellow fruits.
The Coulée de Serrant vineyard alone constitutes an appellation of 7 hectares. This mythical Savennières vineyard belongs entirely to Nicolas Joly.
The Coulée de Serrant was planted in 1130 by monks and has remained under vine ever since. The 2017 vintage is therefore the 887th consecutive harvest. The old small monastery that is still part of the property is listed as a historical monument.
Nicolas and his daughter Virginie work the chenin vines (40 to 80 years old), according to biodynamic principles.
