Domaine Rocher Des Violettes, Vin De France, Chenin blanc 2020 - 0,75L

Located in Touraine, between the banks of the Cher and the Loire rivers on clay-limestone soils, the Rocher des Violettes estate covers 17 hectares.

Xavier Weisskopf, originally from Picardy, discovered the vine during his BTS in crop protection. After a BTS in wine-making, internships and a 4-year training course in Gigondas with Louis Barruol, he created his own domain in 2005, at the age of 25. He started with 7ha of old chenin vines in Montlouis sur Loire AOC and century-old ribs in Touraine AOC. His wife Clémence joined him in 2010. The domain is now certified in Organic Agriculture and the best practices are applied. The purity, integrity and precision of the whites have few equals in the region.
