Brana's raspberry brandy is made from fresh raspberries macerated in rigorously selected alcohol. The maceration then gives way to distillation in small copper stills by Martine Brana, who meticulously monitors the process.
The resulting eau-de-vie is aged in steel tanks until it reaches optimal maturity.
The result is an eau-de-vie with intense raspberry jam flavors. The mouth, always on raspberries, expresses a lot of freshness and ends on a beautiful length.
Brana has existed since 1897. It experienced an important expansion in the 1970s. Martine Brana, who is part of the 4th generation, is now at the head of the distillery which produces brandies in the heart of the Pays-Basque.
