Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Marc de Bourgogne 1934 - 0,7L

A marc de Bourgogne is defined by floral and fruity aromas completed by aromas of undergrowth, mushrooms and leather due to a minimum of 2 years maturation in barrels.

It often reveals a very nice fullness in mouth, a lot of roundness.

The marc is a brandy, elaborated from the distillation of grape marc (set of dry residues obtained after the pressing of grapes).

Some marcs of Burgundy are the product of the residues of grapes of great Burgundy domains as here the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.

Rigorous specifications must be followed to obtain the appellation "Marc de Bourgogne": use of Burgundy grape varieties, minimum and maximum alcoholic degree, minimum duration of aging, etc.
