Clos De Tart, Marc De Bourgogne 1990 - 0,7L

The nuns of the Abbey of Tart founded the Clos de Tart in 1141.

Famous for the fact that it represents the largest Grand Cru monopole in Burgundy, Clos de Tart is located between the communes of Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin.

Its 7.53 hectares of vines in a single block have been owned since October 2017 by François Pinault of the Kering Group.

The entire vineyard has an average age of 60 years and some vines are over 100 years old.

The marc is an eau-de-vie, elaborated from the distillation of grape marc (set of dry residues obtained after the pressing of grapes).

Some marcs of Burgundy are the product of the residues of grapes of great Burgundy domains as here the Clos de Tart.

Rigorous specifications must be followed to obtain the appellation "marc de Bourgogne": use of Burgundy grape varieties, minimum and maximum alcoholic degree, minimum duration of aging, etc.
