Yves Canarelli took over his father's vineyards in 1992 in southern Corsica. He produces AOP Corsica Figari wines. The estate has been certified organic since 2002 and biodynamic since 2006.
Native or ancient grape varieties have made their appearance at the estate such as vermentinu, carcagholu neru, biancu, sciaccarellu, minustellu, genovese, or niellucciu. Some vintages are aged in amphorae. The traditional culture is combined with the desire to innovate to create high quality products.
The wines of Clos Canarelli are powerful, racy, extremely fine and made to be kept.
