Château Latour is a Premier Grand Cru Classé of Pauillac. This Château is one of the oldest in the Médoc since its origins date back to 1331.
From 47 hectares in 1794, the vineyard of Chateau Latour represents today 92 hectares of which 47 are around the Chateau. This parcel is called "l'Enclos". The vineyard is composed of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
The old vines (about 60 years old) of the Enclos are used to produce the Grand Vin du Château Latour.
These wines are characterized by remarkable depth, elegance and concentration. They easily pass through the decades and bring true emotions to those who are lucky enough to taste them.
