E. Guigal, located in Ampuis, in the heart of the Côte-Rôtie, was founded by Etienne Guigal in 1946. Philippe, son of Marcel and grandson of Etienne, is now at the head of the world-famous estate.
The vineyard covers all the prestigious appellations of the Rhone Valley: Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Hermitage, Gigondas and Crozes-Hermitage.
The E. Guigal wines are references in these appellations. The work in the vineyards and in the cellars is rigorous and precise in order to produce regular wines with an enormous ageing potential.
