Chapoutier is an unavoidable name in the field of wine. Present in Tain-L'Hermitage since 1808, the Chapoutier House gathers the greatest vintages of the Rhône Valley. Its parcel selections, especially in the Ermitage appellation, are largely responsible for its remarkable reputation.
The vineyard extends over 350 hectares cultivated according to biodynamic methods. The grapes are harvested at full maturity, often a few days later than in other wineries in the region.
Today, the Maison Michel Chapoutier extends beyond the Rhone Valley: Roussillon, Provence, Burgundy, but also abroad: Portugal, Spain, Australia.
