Following the frost of 2021, the Domaine Sérol lost more than 40% of its harvest. Carine and Stéphane decided to collect organic grapes from their friends in the four corners of France. Melting Potes was born!
It is a blend of Gamay (50%), Syrah (43%) and Grenache (7%) which were vinified separately (15 to 18 days of maceration and 20 to 40% of whole bunches). The wine was then aged for 6 months in cement tanks.
The result is a fresh and lively wine with notes of ripe red fruits and sweet spices. A nice silky and salivating wine to share with friends.

Carine and Stéphane Sérol are settled in Renaison, in the Côte Roannaise, in the Loire. They took over the family estate at the end of the 90's and replanted everything to put back in vineyards the most beautiful hillsides on the granitic terroirs of altitude, located between 400 and 500 meters, on the eastern foothills of the Massif Central.
Today, the Sérol estate has 32 hectares of Gamay, 2 hectares of Viognier and 2 hectares of Chenin.
The vineyard is cutlivé in biodynamie and the wines of the domain are certified organic agriculture.
