Domaine Albert Mann, Alsace Grand Cru Gewurztraminer "Steingrubler" 2018 - 0,75L

€39.00

The gewurztraminer vines are on average 30 years old and are planted on marl-limestone-sandstone soils.

The 2018 vintage of this Grand Cru Steingrubler reveals an expressive nose with aromas of exotic fruits with a spicy touch. On the palate, the wine is soft and velvety with a nice suppleness. Notes of pepper on the finish. Persistent finish.

We would like to drink this wine with a lamb tagine with prunes or an apricot pie.

The Albert Mann estate is the result of the union of two great winegrowing families: the Mann family, winegrowers since the beginning of the 17th century, and the Barthelmé family, the current owners, winegrowers since 1654.

The 25-hectare estate is located in the heart of Alsace, in Wettolsheim, ideally situated in a region with an ancient viticultural tradition. Since 1997, biodynamic viticulture has been implemented in the vineyards. The rooting of the vines is very deep, which allows the vines to capture the maximum of minerals. The terroir expresses itself perfectly in the wines of the domain. Throughout the vinification process, finesse is the watchword.
