The Quite cuvée is made from very old mencia vines (90 years old) from different parcels of clay and schist soils.

This cuvée is a pure expression of fruit. The nose reveals notes of sweet spices that are accompanied by a remarkable freshness. On the palate, Quite is a silky and velvety wine that combines fruitiness and minerality.

A cuvée elaborated in 20 000 bottles. Hurry, there will not be enough for everyone!

Veronica Ortega is based in Vatuille, a small village in the Bierzo appellation in southern Spain. She decided to settle there after having worked in vineyards all over the world: Priorat (Clos Erasmus and Álvaro Palacios), New Zealand, Burgundy (Comte Armand, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti) and the Rhône Valley (Domaine Combier).

Since 2012, Veronica has been working her 5 hectares of vineyards spread among the best terroirs of the Bierzo. She works mainly with old vines of mencia, local red grape variety. The vinifications are handcrafted, the fermentations are the result of indigenous yeasts and very low doses of sulfites are added.

The wines of Veronica Ortega are authentic wines with a strong personality.
