The complex nose reveals a bouquet of very ripe, even jammy red and black fruits. On the palate, this enchanting Régnié with notes of violet is full of energy. A very nice balance between acidity, tannins and delicacy. Yum !
Antoine Sunier discovered the world of viticulture and wine with his brother Julien who himself founded his estate in 2008.
It was at the end of 2013 that he decided to launch himself by buying 4 hectares of vines in the Morgon and Régnié appellations (1.3 hectares in AOC Morgon and 2.7 hectares in AOC Régnié). In Régnié, the 45-year-old vines are located on the plots of Les Forchets and Potet and in Morgon, the vines over 60 years old are located in the Grand Cras.
Antoine made his first vinifications from the 2014 vintage. Manual harvesting, carbonic fermentation in concrete vats, indigenous yeasts then aging in barrels for 7-8 months.
Antoine Sunier's wines are like those of his brother: textured, fleshy, revealing brilliant fruit and great drinkability. Beaujolais that we love!
